In April of 2019, I found myself at my heaviest weight ever at 173.5. My cholesterol was off the charts and I have a family history of heart disease. I didn't want to accept that getting older meant I was going to just be out of shape for the rest of my life and have failing health. I was turning 55 but in my brain, I still felt 18! I told my husband that for my birthday I wanted my body back, the one I had in my 20's. Later that day I had gone to yoga and overheard one of the girls talking to Tanya about fitness training. I took it as a sign right there and started talking with them about how I too wanted to get into shape. I signed up with Tanya and in 6 months not only lost over 30 pounds. I gained muscle by her teaching me what to use in the gym and how often to work out. She also taught me the right foods to eat. I recently completed Fit Appeal Training 12 week weight training program and I loved it. I knew that I needed to add another element into my fitness regime and this was really it. Tanya listened to my goals and my hesitations and requirements ( I don't have a gym membership) and created an extremely thorough and effective program. I was impressed with her questions regarding my current fitness level and how/when I worked out. You understand very quickly that you are not in this alone! Tanya created a program that worked around my cardio and allowed me to do all my weight training at home - she sent me a list of everything I would need to begin. Working out on my own time frame was great for me! Tanya utilizes an app for the training so every workout day I would receive reminders and prompts from the app - and sometimes a separate one from Tanya! - The app is great and has all the information you need for each day, for example all your videos are there and how much time to rest between reps etc. It is very straightforward and easy to use. The videos are great and really help to ensure correct form. I thought I was active but honestly I am surprised at how strong I feel after only 12 weeks - not only do I feel stronger I can see a physical difference, hello tricep muscles!! I also really enjoyed the workouts - they are never boring with they way Tanya organizes them. I also used Tanya's nutrition plan - which I highly recommend and I honestly feel this made a greater impact on my progress because I really learned that I just was not fueling my body correctly. The nutrition plan worked alongside my daily activity levels and had everything I needed including recipes. This is a great intro to weights and correct nutrition and I feel much stronger and better physically (amazing what the correct diet will do) that I have decided to start training for a marathon! This program really shows that you do not need a gym membership to do weight training!

FIT Appeal was created by Tanya Peale, who is no stranger to movement. She has been moving since she was 4 years old. Classically trained in ballet, tap and jazz. Gymnastics 1 1/2 years. Blue belt in Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. 12 years of fitness competitions; state and national level, in the NPC. Ran half marathons, 5k's, 10k's. Years of practicing and teaching yoga. AND years of weight training, resistance training, functional training, core training, bodybuilding, toning, shaping, calisthenics, etc and training clients of all ages, sizes and shapes certified back in 2000.

When one spends many years in the fitness industry, there are a number of nutrition plans offered by many coaches/trainers/experts. Out of all the 'plans' available, the only SYSTEM we have found that works was developed by Dr John Berardi. It is science based nutrition system for whatever goal you need.

  • What to Expect
    Results vary BUT with 94% TOTAL effort, expect to lose body fat, gain lean muscle, lose inches, increase strength, increase energy levels, increase positive outlook and an overall feel good feeling.
